The Nobel Prize winner Svante Pääbo had himself photographed with the cover I designed for J PHYSIOL to mark the award of the prize to him.
In his work, Pääbo had analyzed mitochondrial DNA from archaeological samples and was thus able to show the genetic relationships of hominids. The original cover can be downloaded from J PHYSIOL as a PDF version.
